ANNA+BEL SWIMWEAR LOOK BOOK & CAMPAIGN

Margaret Albia

Recently I had the pleasure of doing the makeup for new swimwear label, ANNA+BEL by stylist, Annabel Gorman Deane. Annabel and I have worked on many shoots together and I am so happy that she asked me to be part of the launch shoot for her amazing new venture. The shoot took place around the rocks at Tamarama.

ANNA+BEL swimwear is unique, playful and a little retro. Think 80's, European style - high waisted bottoms and showing a little cheek. I personally love the collection and I will definitely be getting a one piece when she launches.

The makeup was natural, dewy and a slightly sexy and her hair was given the "wet look" treatment. We also used a hell of a lot of baby oil for her body!

Here are just some behind the scenes shots I took. I cannot wait to share the final images :)

My kind of rainbow...

Margaret Albia

Khristie and I are in the studio today currently preparing for a group lesson we have on tomorrow and just wanted to share a pic of the beautiful mess we created.

Definitely my kind of rainbow ;)

First ever makeup tutorial up on Youtube!!

Margaret Albia

So......I've just uploaded my first ever video makeup tutorial on youtube featuring the beautiful Alia of Coco Dove

It's an easy-to-achieve alternative summer look using white eyeliner and featuring contoured, glowing skin that can be teamed with a nude or orangey-red lip! Great for day or night for something a little bit different or especially when you have run out of outfit options and you want your makeup to do the talking ;)

I was kind of inspired by the Moschino Spring Summer makeup look worn on the runway although I've made my version more wearable.

The thought of starting a youtube channel is kind of scary for me. I really hope it's ok. I'm terrible in front of the camera so I just included subtitles for this one. I promise though, that I'll work on my on-camera presence so that I can do tutorials where I can actually talk through the video.

This first one is a little blurry as we had some technical difficulties on the day. Lol. However, I think it came together okay and we learnt how to improve things for our next video!

A big thank you to Khristie Siachico, Monica Albia and Marissa Albia for all the help with the video!! xx

Check it out...hope you like it :)
